WHAT IS DETAILINGMost people do not understand the difference between just washing your vehicle and getting your vehicle detailed. Detailing involves deep cleaning, polishing, waxing, and sometimes paint correction to make a vehicle look it's best. The interior and exterior are returned to a brand new look and feel. Keeping up on your vehicles detailing is essential as detailing not only cleans and repairs, but protects your vehicles finish. It also is essential to keep your vehicle detailed to increase it's value.Paint CorrectionThings like automatic car washes(non-touchless), improper washing and drying, improper detailing from inexperienced detailers, low quality towels, and even your clothes can leave a finish with swirl marks, minor scratches, buffer marks, marring, and clearcoat hazing. To get these defects out of the paint, micrometers of the clearcoat are removed precisely with the proper techniques and various abrasive technologies. Defects in the paint affect a cars ability to shine and have that "wet" look. When your paint is flawless, proper precautions must be taken in order for it to remain flawless and have deep, dark, glossy reflections.
